🔒 100% LOCAL — PHOTOS NEVER LEAVE YOUR DEVICEFrequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The HEIC decoder runs inside your browser — your photos never leave your device, are never stored, and are never seen by us. That's why there are no file limits and no watermark: serving you costs us nothing.
Why won't my iPhone photos open on Windows?
iPhones save photos as HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) by default, which Windows and many apps can't open without extra codecs. Converting to JPG makes the photo work everywhere — email, Office, older software, any device.
Does converting reduce quality?
JPG is a lossy format, but at the default 90% quality the difference is invisible for photos. Raise the slider to 100% for maximum fidelity, or lower it for smaller files.
